Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to react after Kyle Lafferty’s goal against Dundee was chalked off for offside, despite the Irish striker being behind the ball when the cross was played in.
The linesman can be seen not keeping up with the play, which may be why he saw a different picture to the one everyone else did, but nevertheless the decision turned out to be the difference between the Gers getting one point instead of three – a win would’ve taken them level on points with Celtic at the top.
Former Gers striker Kenny Miller opened the scoring for the home side, before they were reduced to ten men. Andy Halliday then smashed home a brilliant freekick to level the scores, but the wrongly disallowed goal will leave a sour taste in Steven Gerrard’s mouth.
Naturally, fans of the Scottish giants were livid at the decision, and wasted no time in hopping onto Twitter to let their frustrations be known…
