Stoke City should try to offload Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting before next week’s transfer deadline.
What’s the word?
The main objective for the Potters this season is to achieve promotion back to the Premier League.
In order to do that, they need players who are determined and will fight for the team, particularly after their tough start to the campaign.
Manager Gary Rowett has overseen two draws and a defeat since the Championship kicked off.
The Potters lost to Leeds on the opening day of the campaign, and later drew with Brentford and Preston North End.
Even though Rowett is likely to want more players in before the deadline, he needs to consider sending a few out of the exit gates.

Why should Choupo-Moting get the cut?
The 29-year-old joined Stoke from Schalke last summer, and started off well by scoring a handful of goals.
However, as the 2017-18 campaign progressed and the Potters fell into a relegation battle, there were aspects of Choupo-Moting’s game that were weak.
The Cameroon international was always positive when in front of goal as he netted five times and created five assists in the Premier League, but when Stoke needed him to pitch in with defensive duties, he was nowhere to be seen.
With the club now in a tough battle to drag themselves back to the top flight, they need commitment and drive from their players.
Choupo-Moting has not featured at all in the league this season, so it will probably be best for both parties if the forward is moved on.
