Switzerland boss Pia Sundhage named her latest squad on Monday for upcoming Nations League fixtures against France and Norway, with Lehmann being omitted from the list once again. The decision comes amid some minor injuries and a lack of regular game time at Juventus for the 26-year-old.

The decision does mean that Lehmann appears to be facing a battle to make it into the Swiss squad for Euro 2025. Lehmann has been part of the Juventus squad that has just won the double but is not a regular starter. She was an unused substitute in the final of the Italian Women's Cup and only made 16 appearances in the league during the 2024-25 season.
WHAT LEHMANN SAID
Yet Lehmann does not appeared too worried by the situation. After the squad announcement had been made, she posted on Instagram: "Be patient. It's all coming together."

Sundhage will name her final Swiss squad for the tournament next month, and the door is believed to still be open to those not called up this time around. Switzerland are due to take on Norway, Iceland and Finland in the group stages of Euro 2025.
