Leeds fans were fuming when Charlie Austin escaped punishment for his referee outburst last weekend, but they’re absolutely loving Pontus Jansson’s response to the whole fiasco.
Jansson’s ban for his post-Brentford comments angered Leeds fans and understandably so, and he has now lashed out on Twitter again.
The colossal defender has just played an intense and hard-fought match, and sticking a camera in his face with the adrenaline still pumping was always going to get a feisty response.

The same ban was not issued for Southampton’s Austin though, who branded the refereeing performance “a joke” after the Saints’ draw with Watford last weekend.
Phil Hay of the Yorkshire Evening Post reports the major difference was Jansson’s use of the word “robbery”, which implies a lack of integrity on behalf of the referee.
The Swedish international clearly doesn’t see it that way though, as he has once again tweeted his displeasure at the double standards.
