Juventus are looking to recover the €20 million (£17m/$23m) they paid for the defender at the end of his loan spell form Newcastle, according to . The Serie A side have identified Arsenal’s Jakub Kiwior and Wolfsburg’s Konstantinos Koulierakis as ideal replacements for the centre-back, who has made 19 appearances for the Italians, including four at the Club World Cup.

Juventus signed Lloyd Kelly from Premier League side Newcastle United at the request of former coach Thiago Motta, primarily as cover for the injured Gleison Bremer, who missed the entire season. However, after Juventus’ Champions League exit to PSV, Motta was replaced by Igor Tudor and the English defender failed to convince the new coach. Tudor has asked general manager Damien Comolli to sell Kelly and reallocate the funds, specifically pushing for Randal Kolo Muani to be signed on a permanent deal from Paris Saint-Germain.

Kelly is not the only player Juventus are looking to offload, as the Italian side have placed Dusan Vlahovic on the market with AC Milan interested in the player and midfielder Douglas Luiz who has attracted interested from Nottingham Forest.
