A.C. Milan is looking for a reset after a very disappointing 2024/25 season. AC Milan had appointed Sergio Conceicao at the beginning of the year as a replacement for compatriot Paulo Fonseca. Conceicao had a great start to life at Milan, winning the SuperCoppa in only his second match, but since then, disappointing results saw him finish out of European places in the league and lose 1-0 to Bologna in the Coppa Italia Final. With Milan management appointing Igli Tare as their new Sporting Director, changes are afoot, and the first big change could be in the dugout with Conceicao set to be relieved of his duties. Thiago Motta was a candidate in early 2024 to replace Stefano Pioli, but he chose to join Juventus instead. Now, Motta and Milan's paths could converge as Milan could appoint the former Bologna boss as a replacement for Conceicao.
